The St. Jude Foundation
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a leader in research and treatment of childhood cancers and other life-threatening illnesses. The foundation began in 1962 under the leadership of Danny Thomas who was inspired by St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of hopeless causes. Making this foundation exceptional is the fact they never ask families to pay for treatment who do not have insurance. We at Beta Mu are humbled to support this reputable foundation. The Taylor Trudeau Foundation
Taylor Trudeau Cycle for Life is a foundation started by Pikes at the University of New Hampshire in 2009. The foundation honors their brother, Taylor Trudeau, who passed away from Leukemia. The organization raises funds for Leukemia and other blood cancer research. “Cycle for Life” refers to the stationary cycling event various chapters do to raise money. Today over 126 pike chapters have raised over $500,000 year to date. At Beta Mu we will donate half of our proceeds from Pike Fest to support our brothers’ efforts across the country.
